Ibn Battuta was known to many as the world’s greatest traveler in the pre-modern times and through his journey has left much valuable information about the world, culture, and geography. On November 9-12, an event presented by the Moroccan Association of Ibn Battuta will celebrate his legacy. The International Festival of Ibn Battuta (second edition) will put up many kinds of social activities to honor him and present the ideas he developed after his travels.
